PROMOTioN Workshop 'Regulation and Financing of a MOG in the North Sea

Besides the technological design, the development of a meshed HVDC offshore grid (MOG) in the North Sea presents various regulatory and financial challenges that have to be overcome. During the past 30 months’ project partners from DNV GL, Groningen Centre of Energy Law, Deutsche WindGuard and TenneT worked on interim results on these topics and are ready to match the outcomes against your expert know-how!

PROMOTioN - Regulation and Financing of a Meshed Offshore Grid in the North Sea

PROMOTioN partners invite you to a workshop alongside the Global Wind Summit 2018.

We want to engage with you in discussions on

  • legal instruments,
  • financing and governance models,
  • cost-benefit analysis for meshed offshore grids and
  • the integration of regulatory and financial results in the deployment plan for meshed HVDC offshore grids.

Your perception and opinion on the presented findings will shape the future work on the PROMOTioN project and help our project partners to finalise their results.

When: 27 September, 9-11 a.m.

Where: Hall A4, Room A4.2

We encourage you to make travel arrangements as soon as possible!

Please note that an exhibition pass is needed to access the premises! A conference pass is not required.
