ONLINE EVENT HVDC switchgear: Gas-insulated Systems

The PROMOTioN team of WP15 got back together for a live demonstration of gas-insulated HVDC grid protection systems on Thursday the 21st January 2021. The demonstration was conducted as a virtual event.

The Horizon 2020 project PROMOTioN (PROgress on Meshed HVDC Offshore Transmission Networks) concluded in September 2020, but our partners are still building onto the research-foundation laid out in the project.
This full-day workshop on gas-insulated HVDC switchgear was conducted online and featured live technologie demos, presentations and discussions, drawing up to 175 participants. Below, you will find a summary of the programme, the full recording of the workshop in two parts as well as all presentations held that day. Additional material regarding gas insulated HVDC switchgear can be found under "Deliverables" on the PROMOTioN website. For further questions please contact the workshop organizer Uwe Riechert.
